چکیده
Buffer-aided (BA) relaying improves the diversity of cooperative networks often at cost increasing end-to-end packet delays. This characteristic renders BA unsuitable for delay-sensitive applications. However, increased makes appealing ultra-reliable communications. Towards enabling low-latency communication (URLLC), we aim enhancing supporting In this paper, reliable full-duplex (FD) network operation is targeted and purpose, hybrid relay selection algorithms are formulated, combining successive (SuR) delay- diversity-aware (DDA) half-duplex (HD) algorithms. context, a FD DDA algorithm presented, namely LoLa4SOR, switching between SuR HD operation. Additionally, low-complexity distributed version given, d-LoLa4SOR, providing trade-off among channel state information requirements performance. The theoretical analysis shows that LoLa4SOR equals to two times number available relays K, i.e., 2K, when buffer size L greater than or equal 3. Comparisons with other HD, reveal offers superior outage throughput performance while, average delay reduced due SuR-based consideration relay-pair selection. as one few in literature, has reasonable it more practical approach.

Joint relay-pair selection for buffer-aided successive opportunistic relaying
In this work, we present a buffer-aided successive opportunistic relaying scheme that aims at improving the average capacity of the network when inter-relay interference arises between relays that are selected for simultaneous transmission and reception. We propose a relay selection policy that, by exploiting the benefits of buffering at the relays, decouples the receiving relay at the previous...

We study a cooperative network with a buffer-aided multi-antenna source, multiple half-duplex (HD) buffer-aided relays and a single destination. Such a setup could represent a cellular downlink scenario, in which the source can be a more powerful wireless device with a buffer and multiple antennas, while a set of intermediate less powerful devices are used as relays to reach the destination. Th...

In this paper, we investigate opportunistic relay and jammer cooperation schemes in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) buffer-aided relay networks. The network consists of one source, an arbitrary number of relay nodes, legitimate users and eavesdroppers, with the constraints of physical layer security. We propose an algorithm to select a set of relay nodes to enhance the legitimate users’ t...

In this work, we consider the use of buffer-aided relays, linear precoding techniques and multiple antennas for physical-layer security in wireless networks. We develop relay selection algorithms to improve the secrecy-rate performance of cooperative multi-user multiple-antenna wireless networks. In particular, we propose a novel finite buffer-aided relay selection algorithm that employs the ma...
